  7. DESCRIPTION
  8.   LaunchDoc allows to open or print a document by launching its application.
  9.  
  10. SYNTAX
  11.                              LaunchDoc <pathname>[,<"print|open">]
  12.  
  13. PARAMETERS
  14.    <pathname> is the full pathName of the document.
  15.  
  16.    <"print|open"> defines the action to perform. Default is "open".
  17.  
  18.    Using "!", "?" and "=" as first parameter will return an online help (resp. copyright,  syntax and output).

  20. USING
  21.    By using AppleEvents, the XCMD requires System 7 and simulates a double-clic on a document icon from within the Finder. This allows to get the correct application, and even switch it to front if it's already in memory.

  23. ERRORS
  24.    If an error occurs, LaunchDoc can return :
  25.      "Error : Not a file"
  26.      "Error : Alias file not supported"
  27.      "Error : Volume not found"
  28.      "Error : Bad Name"
  29.      "Error : File not found"
  30.      "Error : Folder not found"
  31.      "Error : File is busy"
  32.      "Error : I/O Error"
  33.      "Error : Volume is full"
  34.      "Error : Volume is locked"
  35.      "Error : No resource fork"
  36.      "Error : AppleShare insufficient privileges"
